Welcome to my website. My name is Danielle I’m a budding lawyer, qualified nutritionist, part-time personal training student, gym bunny and food lover!
My journey to a healthier, happier life only began at the start of 2015. I have always been an active person; I loved athletics, netball and going to the gym. However when I ate certain things my body would have a reaction, I would feel sick, my stomach would swell and I would be in agony. For a long time I ignored these signs and avoided most foods, which led to under eating, zero energy and feeling malnourished.
In January 2015 I became diagnosed with a Gluten intolerance, as a result I completely changed my lifestyle; I cut out Gluten, Dairy and Re-fined sugar, within a week I felt like a completely different person.
Throughout this time, whilst changing my eating habits I began weightlifting and high intensity training. Five months on I am the strongest I have ever been; my muscles have grown and I am loving the way my body is changing.
My blog is a way for me to expand on my Instagram. It will include a variety of recipes for people like myself that suffer with a food intolerance, nutritional advice and all things fitness related.
I believe being healthy is more than a ‘fad’ it is a lifestyle, it has given me a better life and I hope my blog will inspire your own journey.
